About Larry Camp

Larry Camp is simply one of the best guitarists in the Tampa Bay Area and beyond.  Larry learned his craft along the East Coast and at University of Miami, andd has been hailed by Musician Magazine as one of the ten best jazz guitarists in the U.S.  Larry has played for the President, at the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, toured Europe playing jazz festivals, and played festivals here in the U.S., in Clearwater and Sarasota, Florida.   Larry has recorded for several best selling jazz albums and produced his own “Camp Fire”.  Before moving to the Tampa Bay Area, Larry played five years with the Allen Houser Quintet, in Baltimore, and four years at the “One Step Down” in Washington, D.C.  Having worked with jazz greats Dizzy Gillespie, Marcus Bellgrave, Julius Hemphill, Gary Bartz and Woody Shaw, Larry Camp is Tampa Bay's quintessential jazz guitarist.
