"Harvest" is a showcase of varied poetic and musical talents collected from the Keep St Pete Lit Poetry Open Mic events held monthly at the Studio620. Orchestrated under Miesha Brundridge, author of "A Beautiful Disaster", the poets perform seasonal shows that reflect changing forces in the world and in their own lives. "Harvest" will center on the nostalgic themes of Fall and recall the ancient act of harvesting the last crops before Winter, and the timeless virtues that come with the agrarian work. You'll hear poems of impossible odds, rectifying the past, the nostalgic routines of Fall, and accompaniments from local musicians. Get ready for pumpkins, golden leaves, and sobering messages of redemption, working together, and reaping the fruits of honest work.
