The Studio@620 invites you to learn about one of St. Petersburg's unique residents, Mr. George Stovall. Many know him for his years as a chiropractic doctor, others for his volunteer work and canoeing adventures, but how many know about his interesting creative talents? Join us for a slideshow and discussion of wearable art inspired by flora, fauna, and other cultural elements, and perhaps even try some of these original creations on yourself!

“My art has been influenced by Salvadore Dali’s work, especially his fascination with eggs and skulls and using disparate objects in such unusual ways to achieve thought provoking works. I also feel a kinship to the famous clothing designer and artist of the early to mid 20th century, Elsa Schiaparelli. I feel the same way she did in how clothing art ought to be used and displayed,” said Stovall.
