The Studio@620 welcomes Mwamba Yeshitela who will hold a fundraiser for his ongoing film project "Beatnik: The Movie". This film, written and directed by Mwamba, explains Jazz as a transcending medium, revealing the inter connection between culture, politics, and counter-culture. The purpose of this event is to raise money for the post production of the feature film "Beatnik the Movie", shot in and around Oakland California this past summer. This is the 3rd art show fundraiser mixer held at Studio 620 --let's make this one our most successful one yet. The Studio at 620 has been instrumental in all of the film's fundraising efforts, Bob Devin will introduce a short behind the scenes documentary and a sneak peak at "Beatnik". This event will feature spoken word, music, art, drinks and refreshments. The cover charge is $10 we are accepting donations all money raised will go to editing, color correction and mixing of Beatnik The movie.

Because this is a fundraising event, red member tickets are not accepted for admission.
