Wrecked: A Collision of Art

Presented by Pixelated Productions

Pixelated Productions presents WRECKED: A Collision of Art on Saturday July 30 at 7:00 PM.

Smash together original film shorts; Film Noir inspired paintings on the walls, and plush 1940s ballroom dancers, the local production house Pixelated Productionz says it’s eager to unveil “Wrecked: A Collision of Art,” a social networking event that comingles the talent pool of  more than a dozen Florida film, dance, photographic, visual & musical artists for a night of pure creative indulgence and performance art.

Along with premiering filmmaker Ian Tracy’s “Land of Nod,” short film, the “Wrecked” event showcases photographs by renowned dance photographer and  former Disney artist Kristen Wheeler; a dance performance by jazz and burlesque choreographer Evelyn Tosi; and the Buddhist icon paintings of Tim Nelsen, an expert in Tibetan Thangka iconography who studied in Nepal and has lectured across the United States on the ancient, exotic and precise painting discipline.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Creative Clay, a local nonprofit that provides artists with developmental, physical or emotional disabilities the opportunity to pursue their passion for art making.  Artists from Creative Clay will also be displaying works.  Both artists and the general public are invited to share their passion for art and make new friends and colleagues at the performance and networking event.
