Studio@620 WMNF Radio Theatre Project Season Finale

Season Four Fundraiser

You're invited to the final performance of our third season of live radio theatre! Help us raise funds to produce a fourth season in the fall/winter of 2012-2013. Join in the fun as live radio theatre takes center stage complete with sound effects! This season finale will feature special musical performances and prizes! You'll be entered to win with your paid admission (additional chances will also be available for purchase during the event). Prizes range from a role in a future radio theatre production, a Studio@620 membership, to Bob Devin Jones recording the message on your voice mail and more! And the entire community wins when you help ensure that a fourth season of live radio theatre can take place by attending this finale fundraiser.

The finale will include these radio plays:

Florida Folk and the Tales They Do”
by Phyllis McEwen and Bob Devin Jones.
“I put on my shoes and I started going up some roads and down some others, to see what Negroes do.” —Zora Neale Hurston

“Last Lists of My Mad Mother” by Julie Jensen.  Directed by Richard A Rice. According to a reviewer the play “is a hilarious, often touching look at the toll Alzheimer’s disease takes on the parent-child relationship.” “When things are too serious to cry about,” says playwright Julie Jensen, “the only thing left is to laugh.”

Plays will be Interpreted for the Deaf  by Carol Downing

As always, each radio play is broadcast at a later date on WMNF 88.5 FM HD 3 during the Soundstage Audio Theatre program on Sundays at 9 PM.
