FLORIDA FOCUS EXHIBITION: A Celebration of Contemporary Florida Art

The Studio@620 welcomes "Florida Focus Exhibition: A Celebration of Contemporary Florida Art" curated by Ken Rollins. On display March 3-17, 2012. Public opening reception on March 3 at 7 PM. Admission is free and open to the public.

Retired art museum director, Ken Rollins, turns 70 years of age in March. In celebration of this occasion, he has curated an
exhibition of the work of many artists with whom he worked over a 30-year art museum career.


The exhibition features 32 artists working in painting, sculpture, photography, glass, metal, performance and installation. The artists hail from Miami to Jacksonville,
Tallahassee to Orlando and throughout Tampa Bay.


In discussing the exhibition, Rollins said, “I was fortunate during my career to work with hundreds of Florida artists. While the choices were difficult, it is an honor to celebrate
my birthday with this group of very accomplished artists, who I consider good friends.”
