About Dance Theatre

“An Equation of Movement” explores the amazing physical feats of human bodies by achieving an uncanny balance of weight at impossible odds.  The audience will get treated to a condensed 1st act sneak-peak of the artistic duo’s next full-scale production “Two Crescent Moons”. When the stereotypical sports jock makes a bet with the stereotypical high-end businessman, a comedy called “Two Men and an Ego” is created. And one will enjoy the serenity on a beach of contemporary ballet with “Seashells by Your Feet”. The critically-acclaimed work is “Terram”, which has been performed and honored at the Gala Concert of the American College Dance Festival Association.

“…starkly powerful choreography and performances that show impressive physical and emotional strength” – Marty Clear, St. Pete Times

“Mashing up film noir and dance is good creepy fun… all to an ominous score by Chris Ferguson.” – John Fleming, St. Pete Times *

“…refreshingly innovative, bearing all the marks of a talented artist [Chase Adin] on the rise” – Kathy L. Greenberg, Tampa Tribune *

“…the dance that punctuates the show’s episodes is top-rate and at moments thrilling…” – Mark E. Leib, Creative Loafing *

* In reference to Adin’s and Ferguson’s latest feature production Case Number 346: Sarah Mayes; a 90-minute, murder mystery that was recognized by the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Tribune, and the Creative Loafing.
