6th Anniversary Celebration
The honor of your presence is requested at
The Studio@620’s 6th Anniversary Celebration
and Social Justice Awards Gala to be held on Sunday June 20 at 6:20 PM.
This evening serves to honor local jazz trombonist Buster Cooper as we present him with
the 2nd Annual Social Justice Pioneer Award. Cooper, a St. Petersburg native and a graduate of Gibbs High School Class of 1947, has a legendary career having played at the
Apollo Theater as well as with such figures as Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman,
and Duke Ellington.
The evening will feature:
An All-Star Jazz Jam Orchestrated and Led by Nate Najar
A Special Tribute Song by Sharon Scott
Una Voce
A Surprise Celebrity Choir
We'll pay tribute to all the dads in the audience with a special reading of your comments by Artist Director Bob Devin Jones.
