6th Anniversary Celebration

The honor of your presence is requested at The Studio@620’s 6th Anniversary Celebration and Social Justice Awards Gala to be held on Sunday June 20 at 6:20 PM.
This evening serves to honor local jazz trombonist Buster Cooper as we present him with the 2nd Annual Social Justice Pioneer Award. Cooper, a St. Petersburg native and a graduate of Gibbs High School Class of 1947, has a legendary career having played at the Apollo Theater as well as with such figures as Lionel Hampton, Benny Goodman, and Duke Ellington.

The evening will feature:

An All-Star Jazz Jam Orchestrated and Led by Nate Najar
A Special Tribute Song by Sharon Scott
Una Voce
A Surprise Celebrity Choir

We'll pay tribute to all the dads in the audience with a special reading of your comments by Artist Director Bob Devin Jones.

Plus You’ll be among the first to peruse a freshly printed copy of “The Studio Review”,
The Studio@620’s new quarterly arts publication.
