Program Overview

A delectable brunch to celebrate mothers on this special day.
Enjoy a complimentary Mimosa and the chance to win a door prize. The full menu features omelets, crepes, and desserts. A cash bar (by donation) will also be available.

Catered by Holway and Barnes. Crepes by Sandy from Crepeville. Desserts by Winnie.

The brunch is followed by piano renditions of Gershwin and Duke Ellington by internationally renowned pianist, organist, and vocalist Stan Hunter accompanied by Wendy Patrick Bettison on bass and harmonica.

Stan Hunter is an amazing talent who has performed with Cat Anderson and the Duke Ellington Allstars; Chris Columbo, Sonny Stitt, Dexter Gordon; Floyd Smith; Showboat Dixieland Band; and the 173rd United States Army Band just to name a few. His recordings include Trip on the Strip; Diamond in the Rough; Christmas Greetings with a Jazzy Feeling; A Distant Chord (sound track of "A Love Story"); and many other jazz and religious albums in conjunction with various artists and the Melanie label.

Stan has taught jazz studies at the Atlantic Community College in New Jersey; worked in television and magazine commercials; is listed in the Who's Who in Jazz in the France Jazz Encyclopedia; and so much more.

Come if you're a mother, bring your mother, come with others or by yourself. Celebrate your mother, mother-in-law, an expecting mother, motherhood or mother nature. Anyone can come, just bring an appetite and be prepared for a great time.
