Celebrate our first and finest year with some creative collaboration and general merriment. Join friends and participate in open canvas, open microphone, or just relax and enjoy cool sounds and party atmosphere. Cash bar provided. Food by Pizze Rustica.

Saturday June 18th
620 Soulful Artists
Moving performances by Soulful Arts Dance Academy and poets Jeff and Pedro in honor of our first year and the artists who have been instrumental to our success.

Sunday June 19th
Theater 620
A special presentation of “Children on Their Birthdays” the director Mark Medoff.  This wonderful film is perfect for the whole family.  Bring a pillow or cushion; we’ll provide the popcorn and soft drinks.

Monday June 20th

Join us for an intimate evening of wine, fine food and scintillating conversation with Mark Medoff, world renowned writer, director, and actor.  Mark will discuss his various works and comment on his latest project and directorial debut: Children on Their Birthdays, a film adaptation of a short story by Truman Capote.  A silent auction will proceed dinner and conversation with Mark.  Dinner is provided by Redwoods Restaurant.

About Mark Medoff
Mark is a Tony Award winner, Oscar nominated screenwriter/playwright, author, educator and director, whose work includes Clara’s Heart, Children of a Lesser God, Mighty Joe Young and Children on Their Birthdays.

A boy in the deep South learns the joys and sorrows of first love in this comedy-drama based on the short story by Truman Capote.
