Clown, archivist, and amateur scientist Albert Billows has built a time machine. Disguising his garage as an exclusive memorial for the popcorn luminary, Orville Redenbacher, Mr. Billows invites an unsuspecting audience to participate in its initial voyage. Followed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, haunted by a bloodthirsty execution of a lawbreaking pachyderm, and inspired by a mysterious woman from a century earlier, Albert Billows escapes to the past in order to change the course of human history and finally do something useful with his life.
Please be warned, there will be danger, balloon animals, and heartbreak. Pittsburgh-based puppet company Miniature Curiosa presents this puppet spectacle for one night only in St. Petersburg as part of their North American tour. The show is not intended for young audiences. The performance is one hour.
Admission $12 all seats / Red Member Tickets will not be accepted for this event.
About Minature Curiosa:
Miniature Curiosa explores the underbelly of childhood nostalgia with the disappointed eyeballs of adulthood. Through low-fi technology, puppetry and non-linear storytelling, Miniature Curiosa presents fast-moving, fast-talking (sometimes malfunctioning) live action comic books. This is not the theatre. This is the living room of an overzealous magician who doesn’t know any tricks. www.miniaturecuriosa.com
