The Studio@620 welcomes TEDxTampaBay as they offer a series of three evenings of mindful presentations covering their core topics: Technology, Entertainment, and Design.

The first in the series will focus on Technology with three intriguing video lectures:

"Chris Domas: The 1s and 0s Behind Cyber Warfare", introduced by Daniel Scott. Chris Domas is a cyber-security researcher at the Battelle Memorial Institute. He specializes in embedded systems reverse-engineering (RE) and vulnerability analysis, figuring out how to manipulate electronic devices.

"Evgeny Morozov: Is The Internet What Orwell Feared" introduced by Bett Correa
Evgeny Morozov is a writer and researcher of Belarusian origin who studies political and social implications of technology. He is currently a senior editor at The New Republic.

"Ray Kurzweil: Get Ready for Hybrid Thinking" introduced by Marvin Scaff.
Ray Kurzweil is an American author, computer scientist, inventor, futurist, and is a director of engineering at Google. He is involved in fields such as optical character recognition (OCR), text-to-speech synthesis, speech recognition technology, and electronic keyboard instruments. He has written books on health, artificial intelligence (AI), transhumanism, the technological singularity, and futurism.
