Two people walk along opposite banks of a stream. Each has a similar experience yet it is filtered by slightly differing perspectives. Journey with two artists, Polly Johnson and Coralette Damme. Marvel at the curiosities they present from the world of "ShadowSpeak". Intuitively understand a secret language of phrases, shapes, and symbols. Admission is free and open to the public.
Polly Johnson is a ceramics artist with a degree in Visual Communication and is currently an instructor at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. Coralette Damme has a Fine Arts degree with emphasis on Printmaking and frequently exhibits her work as The Crafty Hag at art markets and festivals.
In conjunction with the Shadow Speaks exhibit, we are offering two hands on workshops with the artists
Thursday June 4 at 6:30 PM: (Coralette / Rubber Stamp Carving) and
Thursday June 11 at 6:30 PM (Polly / Tunnel Books)
$45 per class / Both classes $80. Registration fee includes supplies. Class size limited to 12 participants.
