The Studio@620 welcomes Karleigh Chase as she gives us a glimpse into the imagined inner workings of such notable women subjects like Marilyn, Mona Lisa, Gala, or The Girl with the Pearl Earring.

"Memoirs of a Painted Woman" is a one-woman show that delves into the private lives of the women in some of the most famous paintings in history. What is it like to be immortalized in a painting? Are these women really who we think they are? Hear what they have to say about the true life of being a muse. You won't read these stories in an art history textbook...

Karleigh Chase is a Senior at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and a member of the Honors College. She will graduate in May with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Policy. Her true passion is acting and theatre. Local credits include Delicious Nut at The Studio@620, See You Next Tuesday at the Ltrain, and Stones from God at SPC. She is so excited to be able to explore her creativity through the Honors Thesis, and would greatly like to thank Dr. Smith and her director, Andi Matheny.
