Presented via Facebook Live Stream on The Studio@620's Facebook Page
$10 suggested donation
The Studio@620 presents the newest virtual dance experiment with projectALCHEMY, DanceBreak. Join in via Facebook Live as Alex Jones will talk with local dance artists and collaborators about their process and practices in creating dance works. But, don’t think this is all just talking—they are incorporating a movement session within the presentation and invite you to engage in the conversations as well by sending your questions in real time about things you hear that may strike your curiosity. “For us, performance is only part of the process—we want to share the alchemy of dance with community. “ – Alex Jones
For this first session, take a look into the process of creating Jazz Theory, with projectALCHEMY Artist Director Alex Jones and local jazz icon Jeremy
Carter. Grab a drink, some snacks, and tune in on Friday, June 19th, as these two collaborators reflect on the experience of combining the
modes of jazz improvisation with dance composition. Simply navigate toward The Studio@620 Facebook Page to watch.
Show your support for the artists during this difficult time, by making a donation during the session. All proceeds will go towards the artists, collaborators, and production of this experiment. Thank you!
