The Studio@620 recognizes the need for self expression, especially in times of uncertainty. For this reason we're hosting a virtual art exhibit in July and encourage artists across our community to participate. Artwork will be posted on The Studio@620 website and in an online album of images on Facebook. If conditions permit, a real-world gallery exhibition may be considered but at this time the plan is for a virtual show. All artwork must be available for sale. Participating artists should be prepared to deliver works to the gallery for display if that option becomes available.

HOW TO ENTER:

Artists may submit 2 images of their original artwork for inclusion in this online exhibition.

Please send the following information in an email message to info@studio620.org no later than Thursday July 2, 2020

  • Minimum of one good quality image of the complete artwork(s)
  • Complete dimensions of completed artwork(s)
  • Title of artwork(s)
  • Sales price of artwork(s) - PLEASE NOTE All sales will be split 60% to artist / 40% to The Studio@620. The Studio@620 will manage art sales through the studio website and will require buyers to pick up artwork at the gallery. If an artwork is sold, the artist will be asked to deliver the artwork and a completed W9 form to the gallery before the end of the exhibition dates. Payment for sold works will be made within two weeks after the closing of the exhibition. Participation in this virtual exhibit indicates agreement to these terms on the part of the artist.
  • Artist full name, address, and phone number
  • Social media contact information for use in promoting the exhibit online

The Studio@620 will promote this exhibit as part of the Second Saturday Virtual Art Walk scheduled for July 11, 2020.

IF POSSIBLE The Studio@620 will hold an exhibit of works in the gallery with limited / timed entrance, should situations with regard to the COVID-19 pandemic permit. If this opportunity arises, or in the event of an art sale, artists will be notified via email and instructed when to deliver artwork.
