About The Studio Review

The Studio Review is an arts and literary quarterly published by The The Studio@620 in St. Petersburg, Fla. Our mission is aligned with the Studio’s mission: to provide a haven for artists and art appreciators – a place where artists, audiences and volunteers collaborate toward new cultural experiences.
We solicit content in every arts area, and value material that illuminates the social and political underpinnings of the art we see and make. We believe that, in order to protect and preserve the arts as a necessary part of our human experience, we must communicate the inextricable relationship between art and politics, and the important role the arts play in bringing about change.
Like art and politics, the dynamic relationships between art forms deepen our cultural understanding and create new venues for personal expression. For this reason, we encourage interdisciplinary submissions and writings about political or interdisciplinary art.
