Open Mic is on summer vacation! Join us when the series resumes in the fall as AMP: Art Music Poetry on Sept. 28

Open Mic: Live @ The Studio is a fully interactive poetry setting allowing for local up-and-coming talents to interact with established artists and an audience in a casual, studio setting. Held the last Monday of each month, Open Mic: Live @ The Studio provides a stage for the new and experimental in the Bay Area, and Central Florida welcoming everyone to perform, watch, and experience.  Open Mic: Live @ The Studio aims to showcase the Bay Areas poets, performance artists, performance poets, spoken-word artist and experimental writers with special guest musicians.

All poets. All writers. All Genres are welcome. There is a suggested donation of $5 to the Studio @ 620 a not-for-profit community of artist, audience and volunteers.

This event is open to all who want to share their words with others. The words may be spoken or sung and may be accompanied musically by members of the audience. The poetry occurs in an atmosphere supportive to all who care to join us.  Doors open at 8:30 PM, readings begin at 9 PM.
