Food From the Ancestors, Part 2: Reclaiming Our Food Heritage

Presented by Slow Foods Tampa Bay

The Studio@620 welcomes Slow Food Tampa Bay and their presentation of “Food From the Ancestors, Part 2: Reclaiming Our Food Heritage” on Monday February 13, 2012. The evening begins with a pot luck meal at 6 PM and the presentation follows at 7 PM. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. Drinks will be available for purchase.

The global food crisis requires local solutions. How can we eat and grow in good health, living soil, rich biodiversity, and reclaim delicious heirloom colors and flavors? A renowned heretic, Willow will present ideas for safely/inexpensively growing food, while presenting environmental caution about cardboard, paper, and plastic in the garden.
