Join in the fun as live radio theatre takes center stage complete with sound effects! Each radio play is broadcast at a later date on WMNF 88.5 FM HD 3 during the Soundstage Audio Theatre program on Sundays at 9 PM. Join us once a month as we embark upon our fourth season of live radio theatre!

Radio Theatre returns to The Studio@620 with “Day of the Onondaga”, “Shelter”, “Eugene Oregon and the Case of the Best Sandwich” and “The Continuing Adventures of Noel Berlin, Cabaret Detective”.
Eugene Oregon and the Case of the Best Sandwich written and directed by Jim Rayfield. In this episode, Private Eye Eugene Oregon faces a tough decision -- cherchez la femme or cherchez the sandwich? James Rayfield has been a theatre educator, director, sometime actor and writer in the Tampa Bay area for almost fifty years. His play The Chatterbox Café was performed by RTP Live! last season. He has published eight plays for teens, taught at Blake High School and Patel Conservatory and has been the Artistic Director of the Young Dramatists Project for the past six years.
Shelter by Matt Cowley As authorities warn of a deadly storm hitting the Tampa Bay area, four friends confront the past and the unknown to survive the afternoon. Matt Cowley is WMNF -88.5 FM Web Manager, producer of Soundstage Audio Theatre and RTP Live!’s Foley master.
The Continuing Adventures of Noel Berlin, Cabaret Detective #3 written for RTP Live! By Paul Wilborn and Matt Cowley and directed by Ron Satlof. “The Continuing Adventure of Noel Berlin, Cabaret Detective” is written especially for RTP Live The series features the Ensemble in cliff hanger episodes with cabaret music and stunning sound effects. Each week Noel and his girlfriend Belle, try to unravel a mystery wrapped in an enigma that leads them closer and closer to a shimmering, upside-down pyramid floating in the bay off downtown St. Petersburg.
Day of the Onondaga by William Leavengood directed by Jim Wicker. A high-powered real estate mogul in Syracuse, NY is confronted by an Onondaga Indian Chief threatening to knock down the mogul's fifteen-story office building which stands on land being reclaimed by the Onondaga nation. William Leavengood is best known locally as the writer/director of Webb’s City The Musical, and Lourdes of the Flies. His play Dinosaur Limbo was performed at RTP Live! last season. He has been working professionally as a writer, teacher and director for more than twenty-five years.and is a two-time O’Neill playwright and alumus of NYC’s Circle Repertory.
