Ryan and Friends celebrates the fickle yet magnetic nature of friendship through song with love and laughs, puns and prose. Featuring Ryan McLaughlin and his friends, such as local favorite Becca McCoy, this evening promises to tickle any theatre lovers fancy.

Ryan McLaughlin is headed off to Dallas Texas for a BFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University. He is a graduate of the Pinellas County Center for the Arts where he has studied for the last four years. Ryan’s credits include Sweeney Todd: Sweeney Todd, Musical of Musicals the Musical: Bill, Billy, Big Willy, Peer Gynt: Solveig’s Father, and The Elephant Man: Policeman, Shel’s Shorts: Various, and Godspell: Jesus, Judas, Lamar. Ryan took the position of Pinellas County Broadway Cares Outreach Representative his Junior and Senior year and while holding this position he expanded outreach to four more high schools and increased annual fundraising by 500 percent. As a result of Ryan’s community involvement and leadership, he was selected as a 2010 Bank of America Student Leader. Ryan was also the Assistant to the Director of Education at American Stage Theatre Company this past summer. As a matter of personal experience and philosophy, Ryan believes firmly in the power of art to transform lives and communities.
