Marty Morell Latin Jazz Sextet
Presented by the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association
The Studio@620 welcomes the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association as they present their final event of the season, a latin jazz concert featuring the Marty Morell Latin Jazz Sextet.
This special jazz concert at Studio @620 will feature Cuban songs by Japanese vocalist “Michiquita” (Michiko Morell). The Marty Morell Latin Jazz Sextet will perform selections from Michiquita’s newly released solo CD “ENAMORADA” (Besame Mucho, Sabor a Mi, Contigo Aprendi) as well as many other great Latin tunes.
Original compositions by Marty Morell, and some of his song arrangements, will also be performed.

- SPECIAL GUEST: Jeff Rupert, head of the Jazz Department at USF, will play tenor sax! (He is considered one of the best Saxophonists in the country.)
