Loy's Botanical Art Show

Celebrating the presence of orchids in a creative and sharing atmosphere through Feng Shui inspired artwork

The Studio @ 620 and artist Loy Khambay proudly present, “Loy’s Botanical,” Friday, September 7th, 6PM to 9PM.  “Loy’s Botanical” is a collection of oil on canvas works of ten different types of orchids in their natural element for Feng Shui.

Born in the small village of Savahnakhet, Laos, Khambay grew up in St. Louis, MO and St. Petersburg, FL, mesmerized by her uncle’s own talent for drawing. By the age of 8, she was moved to start creating her own works. Khambay holds degrees in Commercial Arts along with a Film and Video Production degree from Full Sail University. Her art is inspired not only by places and personal experience, but also by how art has the ability to reflect and change the energy of a space and the people within.

Khambay first shared her creations during a solo show in Los Angeles, CA in 2007. “Loy’s Botanical” is Khambay’s sixth annual solo exhibition and third exhibition in the Tampa Bay area. Please visit www.iamloy.com for a full bio and more in- depth look at Khambay’s past, present and future exhibitions.
