60 Second Plays by 25 Local VIPs

We don’t want to laugh at you, we want to laugh WITH YOU!

Enjoy an evening of laughter, drama and tears while benefiting new theater growth in Tampa Bay.
Watch 25 plays, each about one minute long, written by the people you’ve been wanting to rub elbows with in Tampa Bay.

The Studio@620 welcomes Tampa Bay Plays as they present 60:25 on Thursday December 1st at 7:30 PM.
60: 25 is the first fundraiser in support of Tampa Bay Plays in which twenty-five local VIPs will be challenged to each write a sixty second play.

The VIPs writing for this event are non-playwrights and include: Lynne Austin, Olga Bof, The Localista, Miss Destructo, Peter Kagayama, author For the Love of Cities, Bob Linde, Herbalist, Michael Reich, American Cancer Society & Yogi, Pedro el Poeta, Jen E Smith, Retreatyourselfwell.com, Shana Banana, Swings Tampa Bay, Ester Venouziou & the Localshops1.com Girl, Justin Vilardi, Paint the Town Red and more to be announced.

60:25 supports Tampa Bay's newest theater non-profit, Tampa Bay Plays. Tampa Bay Plays is a non-profit, upcoming Play Festival. The event was launched to nurture the Tampa Bay Playwriting scene and help local writers develop new works. If the unique creativity housed in Tampa Bay is fostered by our growing sense of community, we’ll build a successful Festival that will leave it’s mark.

By supporting Tampa Bay Plays, you are ensuring that local writers will continue to delight our community with meaningful stories, unforgettable characters and lively entertainment long into the future.
